  The person there "running" the pool centre was a absolute rude idiot. He was abusive to my child aged 7yrs and my wife! I approached him about his attitude and he called the cops and kicked us out. Totally bad experience

  Suffering from a PTSD relapse the only place I feel safe to exercise is the pool, but time and time again you go down to the pool only to find it closed again, with the excuse of filtration failure. Funny how this happens on holiday days or celebration days repeatedly. If you don't want to be there to open the pool pay someone to do it for you. Public are held to ransom as it is the only public pool in town and the next closest town is over 100 k away. Not Happy when you consider Mt Isa is one of the warmest and driest places in Australia. Get you act together or let someone who wants to be there take over.

  Stupid idea of having 4 closed swim lanes( with only 2 swimers using the swim lanes at that time) during the peak of the school holidays.

  Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the uncooperative hosts as to when they want to open, so do not count on posted hours. Have found it's better to schedule other workouts in the morning rather than waiting around for the pool to open on time. At the end of the day, expect an unfriendly bop on the head up to a half-hour before closure in the middle of a set.

  Facility is great MIM and the City Council have put a lot of money into making this a nice place.
